intention  

Intention was built as a figurative project of a steel birds nest cradling three glass mosaic eggs. The piece showcased at the 2009 Burning Man festival and was later sold to a private art collector.  The nest has been permanently installed in update New York.  The three glass mosaic eggs (shown below) have continued to tour and have made appearances and civic events and festivals.  Learn more here...



cherish 

Cherish is a very interactive mixed medium project made of steel, mosaic, & visual art. Each flower is video mapped with custom media displayed on the image surface.  This project is unique in its flexibility and has the option to be programmed to project sponsor logos on the flowers or to allow participants to project images onto the flowers via their mobile devices.  Cherish has been featured at festivals and civic events in New York City, Chicago, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.  Cherish can be installed as one massive tree or broken down into three (3) smaller installations.  This piece is currently available to book at installations across the globe.  Learn more here...



perhaps 

Perhaps was one of Robert James very first creations.  It has been featured at events such as burning man and coachella and now sits atop a high rise building in Manhatten.  Perhaps is a brilliant illustration of Robert James Company's abilities ranging from fabrication to commercial and event installation.  Learn more here...



star flu 

Star Flu is our newest projects and could be considered smaller scale when it comes to Robert James creations. The project includes 20 stars that are 6 feet in diameter that suspend and twirl.  Ten of the stars are brushed aluminum and 10 are covered in mirror mosaic.  Star Flu can dramatically enhance any environment.  Learn more here...



bonsai baum

We are currently in the fabrication process of our newest project- Bonsai Baum.  It is a large scale depiction of a well known Japanese horticultural art form called Bonsai.  The theme for the entire project is 1920-30’s – the great depression leading into the industrial revolution.  The fabrication process is a homage to the craftsmen of this time.  Learn more here
